Oh I loved your little video! Aren't they amazing little creatures!? I'm so happy when I see and hear them buzzing around my garden, which is now under too many centimeters of snow to count! Spring is near though, at least through your videos and pictures! Thank you!! I don't know all the different kinds of bees there are around here, but you have me inspired to try to figure it out!

I think I saw her again yesterday. <3 We've had the most amazingly warm sunny weekend, but sadly we're back to more normal temperatures tomorrow, so I might not be seeing any more bees for a little while! Great to know they're there though <3 I just adore them, and am getting a bit better at identifying them!

I have been seeing quite a few bumblebees and solitary bees around my garden. They absolutely love some flowering heather plants that I have around my blueberry bushes. I always think that the heather flowers will be too small for them, but them seem to manage. They also like some Hellebores that I have in a container. I think it is really important to have some flowers in the garden at this time of year.
Thank you, Angie! That's great that you've been seeing a few bees! Unfortunately today has been mostly overcast here, so I haven't seen any. I have some hellebores but they haven't flowered very well this year, so it's great that I have lots of crocuses and snowdrops for bees, and the daffodils are coming out too. You're so right that it's really important to have flowers at this time of year, a key time in the lifecycle of bumblebees especially!
